Just came back from the first day at the PMI EMEA Congress here in Amsterdam.
Love it!
Met some great people like Dave Prior, the author of the Drunken PM blog and the ITT SIG Podcast, and a big agile fan. Great day for him. On this first day of the conference a lot of attention went to Agile practices.
You can watch this short episode of The Project Shrink on YouTube or below.
You should also check out the interview Dave did this weekend about PMI creating virtual communities.

You’ve started an avalanche. I e-mailed the link to the interview to some of my colleagues here & all hell broke loose. It seems that there is not only a convergence og agile & Project Management, but also a convergence of technology & users wanting & needing it. You inadvertently ended up hijacking my latest blog post (http://appdevpm.blogspot.com/2009/05/virtual-communications.html) to covering the aftermath of your post.
Hi Ray. First I was thinking “what did I do?” but then I found out it wasn’t anything bad
It is great to read your epiphany about new tech, agile and stuff. Hope people learn from it :

Bas,
It was great meeting you in Amsterdam. I hope to keep in touch so we can keep discussing these new topics.
