I completed their survey. I'll be interested to see what they come back and say. From some of the questions they asked, I suspect they may sell services around social media (Twitter, FaceBook, SecondLife etc.) Internally we have very strong opinions that these tools may have a place in marketing, but they have no place in internal development. Social media is social, not business.

I'll be interested if other people share our perspective. If this information is being spread through blogs, I suspect it may slant toward people who favor more use of social media. It'll be interesting to see.

Me too. Very interested indeed. Although, I don't completely agree with you on one thing: business is people working together, people working together is social. In projects, everything is marketing (selling to the other person). So I definitely can see a place for social media in that context.

Nevertheless, should be interesting if others agree on this :D And yes, we are mostly biased.
