This is the second episode of many video chats I will be having this year. A brief but intense conversation with experts from around the world.
In this episode I am talking with Cornelius Fichtner of the PM Podcast. We talk about Project Management, social media and his latest site Project Management Lectures.
He Knows PM and the Internet.

That's what I like. People like Cornelius Fichtner who just start doing something without waiting until all is perfect (e.g. the microphone, etc.). And of course have to say something useful for others.

You make many good points here at the same time you can’t practice project management without some understanding of how social networking operates. The challenge is that you can’t necessarily use social networking as a control mechanism, and many traditional approaches to project management are heavy on control even as they emphasize the importance of communication.
True. But the concept of social networks is just an model that provides explanations. Techniques and methods might be derived from the explanations. But “social networks” per se have nothing to do with the management / leaderships as an activity.
