Ah, after some searching there appears to be some security holes in it, so it can't be used for project as it would offer a potential for information compromise.

So does anyone have any already proven policies, procedures or techniques for using twitter on a project?

I needed a unified medium between my project's team members, some of which are vendors and don't have a federated IM platform.

It is enlightening that twitter is not simply a blast out broadcast. Anyone want to comment?

I am just starting my research to see if it can fit our needs.

Hi Mattias, thanks for dropping by. Let me know if you come up with something... Creating a concept is one thing ... putting it to use another :)
